We were delighted to have purchased Vedaska from the Arqana summer sale last week. She is a daughter of Siyouni out of a Dalakhani mare which means she has Pivotal and Dalakhani on her female side both of whom are Champion broodmare sires in their own right in the last decade. Vedouma herself was a Stakes winner and has produced a number of fillies of which one bore a Frankel foal down in Australia which topped the sale AUD $875,000. The family goes back to a lot of the good horses of the Aga Khan including current Prix-Jockey Club and Eclipse winner last year Vadeni aswell as many other Group 1 winners going back through the page. An incredibly exciting prospect who will have a lot of options in France for 2024 breeding season, not to mention a Dariyan cover to take to the sales as a foal or yearling.
